H. Social networks and social media plug-ins in general
We use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest on eberle-werbeagentur.de on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR to make it easier for users to follow our news and to make eberle-werbeagentur.de better known. These purposes constitute a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by their respective providers.

Contact to the social media is established via a “share” button. The social media plug-ins are integrated using the “two-click method” so that users of eberle-werbeagentur.de are not immediately reported to the social media providers and thus enable visitor data protection.

If you have activated the “Share” button on eberle-werbeagentur.de, data will be transmitted to the above-mentioned social network services (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) when you access a page. Other data may also be transmitted.

Information from the Federal Office for Information Security on using social networks can be found here

I. Integration of Facebook and Instagram
Since many of our users use Facebook and Instagram, we have decided to integrate social media plugins from Facebook and Instagram in order to personalize the use of eberle-werbeagentur.de. The “SHARE” button of the social network Facebook and Instagram of Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, is integrated.

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook and Instagram servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook and Instagram directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook and Instagram receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or Instagram account or are not currently logged in to Facebook or Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook or Instagram server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Facebook or Instagram can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account or Instagram account. If you click the “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook or Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook or Instagram and displayed to your Facebook friends or Instagram friends.

Facebook or Instagram may use the information obtained about you for the purposes of advertising, market research and the needs-based design of Facebook pages or Instagram pages. For this purpose, Facebook or Instagram will create usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook or Instagram, to inform other Facebook users or Instagram users about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with the use of Facebook or Instagram.

If you do not want Facebook or Instagram to associate the data collected via our website with your Facebook account or Instagram account, you must log out of Facebook or Instagram before visiting our website.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook or Instagram as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the data protection information (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/) of Facebook or Instagram (https://help.instagram.com/811572406418223/?helpref=hc_fnav).

A Facebook plugin or Instagram plugin on our pages can be recognized by the Facebook logo or Instagram logo. You can find more information about the Facebook computer programs or Instagram computer programs at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
Facebook describes the data collection processes at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php

J. Integration of Twitter
Plugins of the Twitter Inc. network “Twitter” are integrated on the websites at eberle-werbeagentur.de. You can recognize Twitter plugins by the Twitter logo (Tweet button) on our pages after you have activated it by clicking on “Share”. You can find an overview of the tweet buttons here (https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons).

When you visit a page on our website that contains a plugin that you have activated, a connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter Inc. receives the information that you have visited the page of eberle-werbeagantur.de (under your current IP address).

If you click Twitter’s “tweet button” while you are logged into your Twitter account, you can link the content of our pages to your Twitter profile. This allows Twitter to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. Eberle GmbH has no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted to Twitter or its use by Twitter Inc.

If you want to prevent Twitter from assigning your visit to eberle-werbeagentur.de to you, log out of your Twitter user account.
