As the first Demeter manufacturer of baby and toddler food, Holle baby food offers an extensive organic range in which infant formula also plays a central role. As part of the Holle infant formula relaunch, the product line was to be given a new, modern look without fundamentally changing the familiar design. The aim was to continue to convey the high quality and safety of the products, but at the same time to create a fresher, more appealing design that would make it easier for parents to find their way around.
The result is a look that is lovely and sweet, but at the same time emphasizes the seriousness and high quality standards that are essential for infant formula. As the composition of these products is strictly regulated by law, it was important to reflect this professionalism visually. The new packaging combines a soft, harmonious aesthetic with a clear structure that creates trust and enables intuitive differentiation between varieties.
Clear basic colors have been assigned to the product categories for easy differentiation: Cow milks are designed in a blue color scheme, while goat milks are highlighted by a green color scheme. In addition, the starting and follow-on milks within these categories differ in color intensity – from pastel to bold tones – so that parents can find the right product for their child at a glance.
