20 percent more fans in 10 days

In the first ten days alone, the Facebook page of “Taste the South” gained 20% more fans. The online campaign we developed for MBW, the marketing and sales promotion company for agricultural and forestry products, was a great success. The aim was to increase awareness of the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) and Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) labels.
The campaign included Facebook ads with deliciously staged, typical dishes from Baden-Württemberg – such as Maultaschen, Spätzle, Black Forest ham and wines from Baden and Württemberg. In addition, a landing page was created to present the protected specialties from Baden-Württemberg – with special features, tips for excursions to the region and facts.
A competition on the Facebook page of “Schmeck den Süden” asked for their Maultaschen preferences.
