Support biodiversity with seed campaigns from Alnatura

Every spring, Alnatura sets an example for organic farming and biodiversity with its seed campaigns. As part of this sustainable initiative, Alnatura offers various seed bags that encourage customers to become active themselves and contribute to the preservation of natural diversity by sowing organic seeds.

However, this campaign goes beyond the mere sale of seeds. Part of the income from the products flows directly into important environmental projects in order to support sustainable structures in the long term. An important area of the Alnatura seed campaigns is the promotion of the seed fund of the Future Foundation for Agriculture. This fund enables organic seed breeders to develop independent, organic plant varieties that are specially adapted to the requirements of organic farming. This results in independent, site-adapted and sustainable seed varieties that contribute to the long-term stability and resilience of agriculture. Thanks to the support of Alnatura customers, the fund was able to receive 567,000 euros in 2019 alone – an important contribution to the future of organic farming.

In addition to the promotion of sustainable seed development, a further portion of the proceeds goes to the Mellifera e. V. association, which is intensively involved in beekeeping that is appropriate to the species. Through targeted measures, Mellifera e. V. actively contributes to the protection and promotion of bees in order to preserve their essential role in the ecosystem. The support from the Alnatura seed campaigns helps to ensure pollination and the preservation of biodiversity – both crucial factors for a stable ecological balance.

Through this initiative, Alnatura and its customers make a valuable contribution to the preservation of biodiversity, the promotion of organic farming and the protection of bees. Year after year, this campaign helps to convey sustainable values and bring about concrete changes for a more environmentally friendly future.

We designed the packaging for the sachets and implemented extensive advertising materials for the Alnatura campaigns: For example, there was a seed and gardener’s guide providing helpful tips as well as various store decorations, information posters and a competition.
