With the abolition of disposable coffee cups and the so-called knot bags – the thin plastic tear-off bags at the fruit and vegetable counters – Alnatura is continuing its commitment to less packaging waste and more sustainability with the Alnatura sustainability campaign. This initiative is a further step towards promoting more environmentally friendly alternatives and encouraging customers to consume more consciously. By avoiding unnecessary disposable packaging, the aim is to reduce plastic consumption in the long term and encourage more sustainable shopping behavior.
In order to communicate the message of this measure effectively, we have developed various campaign motifs. They not only show the benefits of a more conscious use of resources, but also focus on the importance of reusable alternatives. The aim is to inspire customers to get involved and make a positive contribution to environmental protection together.
In addition to reducing packaging, Alnatura is continuously committed to other sustainable projects. These include the promotion of organic farming, transparent supply chains and resource-conserving production processes. This holistic strategy reflects the conviction that economic activity and ecological responsibility can go hand in hand. With every conscious decision for sustainable alternatives, each individual contributes to protecting the environment and shaping a future worth living.
With statements such as “No longer portable!” or “K.O. for disposable!”, the campaign makes it clear what contribution Alnatura is making to reducing the mountains of plastic and how important sustainable alternatives are for the environment. It raises customers’ awareness of the problem of plastic waste and encourages them to actively become part of the solution by consciously opting for environmentally friendly reusable products.
For the campaign, which focuses on education and encourages people to change their own shopping behavior, advertisements were placed, information boards in Alnatura stores and social media channels were used. More about our long-standing customer here.
