Strategic realignment for Olival da Risca

The award-winning organic olive oils from Olival da Risca are produced in the south of Portugal according to strict Demeter guidelines with the utmost care and under sustainable conditions. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern, environmentally friendly production methods makes the oils a high-quality natural product with a special character.

As part of our project, we strategically realigned the brand and sharpened its positioning in order to emphasize its unique values even more. Our focus was on communicating the origin, quality and sustainability of the olive oils in an authentic way. In addition to a precise brand strategy, we developed a new, unmistakable design concept that reflects both the naturalness and premium quality of the products. Through a harmonious interplay of modern branding, well thought-out packaging design and targeted communication, we have established Olival da Risca as a strong, recognizable brand in the premium organic segment.

The result is an eye-catching and coherent overall appearance that consistently focuses on the values and exceptional quality of Demeter-certified olive oils. From the logo design to the high-quality bottle labels and stylish outer cartons to the modern and informative website – every design element was carefully developed to bring the artisanal production, sustainable philosophy and special origin of the olive oils to life both visually and in terms of content.

The minimalist yet elegant design underlines the premium character of the brand and ensures a strong presence on the shelves and in digital media. Through the harmonious combination of tradition and modernity, the new brand identity radiates authenticity, trust and the highest quality – and appeals specifically to discerning customers who value sustainability, transparency and first-class organic products.

The family-run company exports its premium olive oil beyond Europe, even as far away as Japan. It is not for nothing that Olival da Risca is considered one of the best olive oils in Portugal. There was another award at Biofach 2019 – this time for the exclusive “Reserva da Familia”.
