The traditional family business Pflanzen Kölle has stood for the highest level of horticultural expertise since 1818 and sees itself as a “passionate gardener”. With now 13 garden centers throughout Germany, Pflanzen Kölle offers its customers not only a diverse selection of plants, garden supplies and decorative items, but also in-depth expertise and personal advice.
As part of the Pflanzen Kölle relaunch, we revised the brand positioning on the basis of a comprehensive strategy process and developed it further in several workshops. The values that define Pflanzen Kölle – tradition, quality and passion for plants – were interpreted in a modern way and realigned for the future.
The result is a holistic new brand image that is characterized by a clear, contemporary design and authentic communication. The Pflanzen Kölle relaunch not only includes a visual update, but also a strategic realignment of the brand message that positions the company as a competent, sustainable and inspiring partner for all gardening enthusiasts. In this way, Pflanzen Kölle will continue to be the first port of call for all those who garden with heart and mind.
With its new image, Kölle is once again positioning itself fresh and modern on the market, tapping into new, younger target groups and focusing on the wide range of garden centers, which are designed as oases of well-being and offer a genuine shopping experience.
The newly developed claim “Ich mach’s mir schön!” is aimed precisely at the needs of the predominantly female target groups, who also promise themselves a little break from everyday life when shopping.
In addition to a slight face-lift of the company logo and the entire corporate design, the logos and packaging of the own brands were also revised.
