Fair business is not just an empty phrase for Weleda: in 2016, the company not only received the German Sustainability Award, but was also awarded the German government’s Corporate Social Responsibility Prize. Weleda maintains over 50 partnerships with farmers worldwide – with fair remuneration and long-term contracts. These include a project with the only Indian farm that grows jasmine plants organically – and is now also lending its face to the poster campaign.
We have been working with Weleda since 1992 and have closely followed and helped shape the brand’s development into the leading provider of natural cosmetics and natural remedies. Our work focuses on the areas of corporate communications, trade marketing and packaging. For a joint campaign by Weleda and the One World Network NRW association, we developed a large-scale poster for more sustainable production and consumption methods. Under the motto “Valuing diversity. Act sustainably.”, the natural cosmetics manufacturer and the state network of development policy associations in NRW are committed to preserving natural diversity and dealing fairly with suppliers.
