Weleda’s Sustainable Behaviour and Economy Praised

A fair economy is not just a buzz word for Weleda: In 2016, they won not only the German Sustainability Prize but also the German Federal Government’s corporate social responsibility prize. Across the globe, Weleda has over 50 partnerships with farmers – with fair wages and long-term contracts. This includes a project with the only Indian farm which cultivates jasmine plants ecologically and which now features as the face of the poster campaign.

 

We have been working with Weleda since 1992 and have accompanied and influenced the development of the brand into becoming a leading provider of natural cosmetics and medicines. The key aspects of our work include the fields of corporate communication, trade marketing and packaging. For the joint promotion between Weleda and the “Eine Welt Netz NRW” association, we developed a large-surface poster to promote more sustainable means of production and consumption. Under the motto “Appreciate diversity. Trade sustainably.”, the natural cosmetics manufacturer and national network of political development associations in NRW seek to preserve natural diversity and the fair treatment of suppliers.
