Already we have been CO2-neutral as an agency since 2011because, together with Soil and More, we have been offsetting our emissions through compost projects. We have now gone one step further and made our agency climate-positive with retroactive effect from January 1, 2020. This is based on the realization that we need to do more to achieve the 1.5 degree target set in Paris.
In concrete terms, climate-positive means that we offset more emissions than we cause and also work to avoid or reduce emissions. In the current reporting year 2020, for example, we achieved this with a new photovoltaic system on the agency roof, which not only powers our new e-charging station.
