In the interests of transparent reporting, we have voluntarily based our 2020 Sustainability Report on the criteria of the German Sustainability Code for the first time.
The German Sustainability Code (DNK) is a cross-industry standard for sustainability reporting by companies that fulfills the legal requirements of the CSR Directive Implementation Act (CSR-RUG). The DNK is managed by the office of the German Council for Sustainable Development, which works on behalf of the German Federal Government.
In addition to the Sustainability Code, the Sustainability Reporting Standard of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI SRS) is another internationally recognized reporting standard in the area of sustainability.
