The organic action weeks take place once a year and are intended to draw attention to local organic products, sustainable production and animal welfare. All organic businesses – whether organic farms, organic wineries or organic restaurants – can take part with their own individual range of events. From farm festivals to tastings and seminars, the result is a varied program dedicated to organic farming. As part of the 2023 edition, we redesigned the communication presence for the Eco Action Weeks.
The concise and flexible logo, whose organic shapes and illustrative elements are used playfully, is characteristic of the appearance. This underlines both the diversity of the event series and the biodiversity and vitality of the region’s organic fields. As part of the relaunch, the website, various advertising materials such as posters and postcards and the social media presence were revised in addition to the logo and now appear as a single entity. When designing the website, it was particularly important to guide visitors in a targeted manner – usability. Finally, the website serves as a registration portal for organizers as well as an information platform and calendar of events for all those who would like to be part of the Eco Action Weeks as a guest. A clear navigation structure ensures that the relevant areas can be found quickly and without detours. In order to provide organizers and press representatives with materials such as poster and banner templates as well as sharepics, a clearly arranged download area has also been created.
From the development of an editorial plan to the creative realization of the individual contributions to the planning and posting, we implemented everything from a single source with regard to the social media presence of the Eco Action Weeks. Incidentally, the Eco Action Weeks are organized by the
Ministry of Food, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection
(MLR for short) and the Marketinggesellschaft für Agrar- und Forstprodukte aus Baden-Württemberg mbH (MBW for short) in cooperation with the various farming associations, including Bioland, Demeter and Naturland.
