We developed the VOG sustainability brochure for the Association of South Tyrolean Fruit Cooperatives (VOG), which presents the central and diverse sustainability aspects of the association in a compact and appealing way. The aim was to make the comprehensive measures and values that VOG pursues in the area of sustainability not only informative, but also visually and emotionally tangible.
Since its foundation, VOG has developed into the largest marketing organization for apples in Europe and today unites 11 cooperatives under its umbrella. This includes a total of 4,600 family farms, all of which pursue their own individual sustainability strategies – with the common goal of making their farms sustainable for future generations.
We reflected this sustainable philosophy in the VOG sustainability brochure. A careful selection of emotional images gives the brochure an authentic and tangible dimension, while numerous quotes directly from the fruit growers provide insights into their daily challenges, values and visions. In this way, sustainability is made tangible not just as an abstract concept, but as a lived reality on the farms. The brochure thus serves not only as an information medium, but also as a source of inspiration for future-oriented and sustainable agriculture. The VOG sustainability brochure focuses on key topics such as innovative strength in variety breeding, environmental protection, resource-conserving cultivation and networked thinking. The aim was to make this diverse content appealing and accessible without losing clarity and structure.
The design strikes a balance between depth of content and a modern, minimalist design language that blends harmoniously into the client’s minimalist design guide. Targeted visual accents, appealing imagery and well thought-out typography have resulted in a brochure that not only informs but also inspires. In this way, VOG’s sustainability strategy is impressively communicated and will be remembered for a long time to come.
