For many people, the Christmas season is an opportunity to make their loved ones happy – and the best way to do this is with high-quality, sustainable products. For the Weleda brand, which has stood for certified natural cosmetics for decades, this season is a particularly strong sales period. To maximize its presence at the point of sale (PoS ), we once again developed a powerful concept for exclusive gift sets that combine sustainability and high-quality care.

Our design aimed to convey the natural and high-quality brand identity of Weleda in an appealing design. The gift sets were lovingly put together and supported with effective advertising materials at the PoS. The result was a well thought-out and attractive presentation that appealed to customers directly at the point of sale and got them excited about Weleda’s gift ideas.

As every year, this strategy proved successful: the gift sets and accompanying promotional materials were sold out early – a clear sign of the strong demand and the brand’s great appeal in the run-up to Christmas. Weleda was once again able to maintain its position as the leading brand for natural care products in the gift category.

So it’s no wonder that Weleda is the No. 1 natural cosmetics gift brand*. With well thought-out, sustainable concepts, the company succeeds year after year in inspiring customers with its special products and anchoring the brand in consumers’ minds for the long term.

For the point of sale (PoS), we developed – as we do every year – individually designed gift packaging that is specifically tailored to different price ranges and target groups. Our aim was to create packaging that was not only visually appealing, but also sustainably produced while reflecting the values of the brand. Each design was conceived with great attention to detail to emphasize the natural aesthetics of the products and create an emotional connection with the customers.

Special attention was paid to the sustainable production of the packaging. Right from the design phase, care was taken to use resource-saving materials that are ecologically sound without compromising on quality or value. All cardboard packaging used is made from 100% recycled raw materials and is produced exclusively in Germany. This minimizes transport routes, reduces CO₂ emissions and protects the environment.

In addition, the entire production process was climate-neutral to ensure that the packaging is not only visually appealing, but also makes a sustainable contribution to reducing the ecological footprint. The combination of low-cost production, high-quality use of materials and consistently sustainable manufacturing resulted in packaging solutions that meet both the ecological and aesthetic requirements of the brand.

This individual and environmentally friendly gift packaging not only strengthens the brand identity at the PoS, but also promotes awareness of sustainable consumption – an important step towards greater environmental awareness in retail. More about our customer Weleda.

To showcase the gift sets at the PoS, our specially developed & particularly sustainable folding display was also used in 2023. It can be assembled in a few simple steps and offers plenty of space for individual equipment.
