Sparkling design for the tingle in the glass:
Swabian cider

 

The “Interessengemeinschaft Schwäbischer Cider e. V.” is an association of small, fine manufacturers from Baden-Württemberg who transform traditional cider into a high-quality, new and nature-conscious drink with genuine craftsmanship and a great deal of passion. Their aim is to preserve Swabian cider culture and at the same time create a modern interpretation of this traditional drink. The focus is on regionality, sustainable production and the highest quality standards.

The “Swabian Cider” communication concept was developed to convey these values and the special philosophy behind the product in the best possible way. The challenge was to create a convincing brand world that builds a bridge between tradition and modernity. The aim was not only to position the product as a high-quality luxury drink, but also to appeal to the target group in an authentic and emotional way.

The concept combines artisanal authenticity with a contemporary, fresh and bold appearance. It highlights cider as both an everyday and cult drink and appeals to different target groups – from tradition-conscious connoisseurs to a young, trend-conscious community. At the same time, it helps to emphasize the importance of nature conservation, sustainable agriculture and regional value creation.

With a well thought-out mix of appealing design, digital presence and targeted marketing measures, the history of Swabian cider is brought to life – always with the aim of making its uniqueness visible and strengthening its position in retail and gastronomy. In this way, Swabian cider is not only preserved, but successfully led into the future.

We developed an umbrella brand logo and combined a warm golden yellow for the cider with a fresh, black typography – thus creating not only a high recognition value for the brand, but also a reminiscence of the colors of Baden-Württemberg and thus of the origin of the products from local orchards. With the slogan “Prickling Swabian”, we formulated an enjoyable and regional message.

We designed a young, lively layout for the website, developed a clear structure and all the content. Loving illustrations manifest the love of nature and the handmade character, the imagery is bright, friendly and natural. Other measures included a magazine, a blog and a trade fair stand.
