For us, the start of a new project usually begins with a joint kick-off meeting. We bring everyone involved up to the same level of knowledge, clarify open questions and define the next steps. If we already have a concrete briefing and a strategic basis, we can start the creative phase straight away. If this is not yet the case, we will be happy to support you with an individually tailored brand workshop – to sharpen the positioning and create a robust briefing.
A clear objective and – ideally – an existing brand strategy are very helpful for a reliable proposal. We also need information on whether it is a complete relaunch or an evolutionary development. Visual benchmarks or existing designs serve as additional orientation. For a precise calculation, we ask for the number of products, subcategories and formats to be designed.
We attach great importance to personal exchange – briefings and concept presentations are preferably held on site or by video call (e.g. via Microsoft Teams). In the subsequent implementation phase – for example when developing individual product variants – we coordinate efficiently and purposefully by email. This keeps us fast, flexible and always on point.
Yes, we have developed a comprehensive guideline document to make the project run as smoothly as possible for both sides. It contains all the important information on the process, helpful tips on legal issues, data handling or, for example, the creation of text manuscripts. In addition, we are of course always available for individual queries.
The project duration depends heavily on the scope and complexity. As a rule, the conception phase should be expected to take 1 to 3 months. The first presentation of design approaches usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. In the implementation phase, significantly shorter response times are also possible – depending on the effort involved: if necessary, we can implement individual adaptations within a few days.
We prepare all print data up to the standardized production format – especially if the lithography is the responsibility of the print shop. If the litho is also to be handled by us, we create the final, print-ready data in close coordination with the print shop.
