With assets of around €1.5 billion, the Software AG Foundation is one of the largest charitable foundations in Germany. It pursues the goal of actively shaping social change and providing sustainable positive impetus in various areas. The foundation is anthroposophically motivated and exclusively supports projects that serve the common good – particularly in the areas of education, health, social affairs, art, culture and organic farming.
In order to clearly communicate its values and independence from Software AG to the outside world, a new image was developed that creates a clear visual distinction. In close cooperation with the client, a design was created that reflects the identity and basic principles of the foundation. Particular emphasis was placed on a modern yet timeless aesthetic that conveys trust and transparency.
The new corporate design not only underlines the charitable orientation of the foundation, but also strengthens its recognizability in the public eye. The foundation’s value orientation is visually conveyed through a clear visual language and a targeted use of color and form. This ensures that its message and mission are communicated effectively.
The design language and color scheme of the new design is strongly inspired by the anthroposophical theory of color and form.
The new foundation magazine “implizit” was developed as part of the new brand identity. Each issue deals in depth with a key topic and presents related projects. The new magazine strengthens public awareness of the foundation and provides comprehensive insights into the projects supported.
