New concept for gourmet olive oils

What are the different flavors of Byodo gourmet olive oils? Many consumers ask themselves this question at the point of sale (PoS). We developed a design concept for country-specific flavor profiles to make it easier for them to choose and at the same time highlight the uniqueness and high value of the individual Byodo gourmet olive oils.

This concept makes it possible to recognize the different aromas and characteristics of the gourmet olive oils at first glance. Each oil is given an individual design that communicates the special characteristics of the product both visually and informatively. In addition to the dominant flavor note, the intensity of the pungency and bitterness were also taken into account, as these factors contribute significantly to the perception of taste. This not only makes it easier to differentiate between the olive oils, but also to tailor them to personal preferences.

The design ensures that consumers can quickly find their way around the shelf and are given a clear decision-making aid. Color codes, design elements and a concise description of the flavor nuances ensure intuitive perception of the respective variety. At the same time, the exclusive character of Byodo gourmet olive oils is emphasized by the high-quality presentation.

The range currently includes two products with characteristic country-specific flavor profiles: an intensely fruity olive oil from Italy, which impresses with a harmonious balance of fine spice and fresh olive notes, and a distinctive, strong variant from Greece, which impresses with a full-bodied aroma with light bitter notes. Both oils reflect the typical aromas of their region of origin and offer gourmets an unmistakable taste experience.

This well thought-out concept not only makes the variety of high-quality olive oils more tangible for consumers, but also more appealing – for conscious enjoyment of the highest quality.
