The specialist for garden and plant products Neudorff invited us to pitch with the question: How can you better pick up overwhelmed customers in DIY stores – and also clearly differentiate yourself from the competition? Until now, it was not so easy for end consumers at the PoS to find out which lawn care product was right for their individual lawn needs.
We developed a concept that guides the customer quickly and easily to the right product and were able to win the Neudorff pitch. Our aim was neither to inundate DIY store visitors with information at the POS nor to leave them helpless with their lawn problems.
In future, it should be quick and easy: with our lawn care check. How does it work? A QR code at the POS takes the customer directly to the online lawn check. At www.neudorff-rasencheck.de he can determine the exact condition of his lawn using the lawn test and then receive recommendations for the right lawn care products – all with just a few clicks.
Neudorff products now also stand out from the competition at the POS: with our lawn care guidance system with clear color coding. The signal colors immediately create a visual effect from a distance and also serve as a color differentiation aid for customers. This makes it easy for customers to distinguish between the care and repair products at a glance. We also flanked the lawn campaign for Neudorff with billboards and advertisements on social media.
